Introduction to Computers
This course is designed for beginners. Students will learn computer basics. Students will learn how to use the mouse, organize the desktop, open programs and create folders. Students will learn how to personalize their PC’s, setup e-mail, navigate the web, and basic word processing through Microsoft Word.
Microsoft Word Level I
This course is designed for beginners or new users who want to learn Microsoft Word basics. After completing this course student/s will be able to identify Word Window, document saving, use backspace/delete and undo/repeat cut, copy, paste and drag. Align text, set line and paragraph spacing, indent text, format text, and insert symbols. Use spell and grammar check, learn how to create bulleted and numbered list, use auto correct and find and replace.
Microsoft Word Level II
This course is designed to expand your knowledge Microsoft Word. The student will work with tables and charts to organize and summarize data, paint images and custom graphic elements to document, use building blocks of information and updatable fields to documents to improve efficiency. Control how the text flows around graphics, between paragraphs and between pages. Use templates to maintain consistency between documents and create and use macros to automate task.
Microsoft Excel Level I
This course covers the skills needed to create and maintain simple to moderately complex spreadsheets. Students will learn to move effectively through the sales and perform basic mathematical operations. Instructions will include hands-on lessons and practices.
Microsoft Excel Level II
This course is designed for individuals who already have foundational knowledge and skills in Excel 2010 team and are ready to advance their data analysis skills and abilities through the application of advanced Excel 2000 team functionality such as advanced formula creation, tables, charts, pivot tables and pivot charts.
