Greetings from the Division of Health Sciences! Our programs are located at the Coahoma Community College Allied Health Training Center, 901 Ohio Street in Clarksdale, MS. We would love to talk to you about career options in health care.

According to the US Department of Labor "Healthcare will generate 3.2 million new wage and salary jobs between 2008 and 2018, more than any other industry, largely in response to rapid growth in the elderly population. Ten of the twenty fastest growing occupations are related to healthcare. Many job openings should arise in all healthcare employment settings as a result of employment growth and the need to replace workers who retire or leave their jobs for other reasons."

If you have a good understanding of math, science, and English, enjoy working with people, and want to make a difference in their lives, a career in health care may be just right for you. We invite you to check out our programs of study on the CCC website and in the online college catalog or call for additional information.
