Educational Outreach

The Educational Outreach Office at Coahoma Community College provides accessible education and support services that cater to a diverse range of students. We serve traditional and non-traditional students, transfer students and professionals.

The Educational Outreach Office provides evening courses in five Mississippi Counties: Tunica, Bolivar, Tallahatchie, Coahoma, and Quitman.  We work hard to make sure our students at all off-campus sites receive the same high quality college education and support services as our day students by providing them with excellence in teaching. Evening courses are offered Monday thru Thursday between 5:00 pm and 10:00 pm.

The Educational Outreach Office provides flexible dual enrollment opportunities to high school students who want to supplement their high school schedule and earn college credit early!  The dual enrollment program allows high school juniors and seniors who are in good academic standing to take college courses during the day, evening or online.  Students who are interested may see their high school counselor for documentation requirements or students may contact our office directly.

The Educational Outreach Office provides eLearning services (formally Distance Learning) for students who want or need to remove the barriers of time and travel and work towards earning their degree. Our eLearning program offers academic and career-technical courses during the 15-week, 8-week, 4-week, and Winter Intercession terms.

Additional services provided by the Educational Outreach office includes:  Continuing education units and testing services.  Whether you are seeking an Associates of Arts degree, need additional coursework, or need continuing education units for re-certification or professional development, we can help you!
