CLARKSDALE – A Coahoma Community College staff member is on her way to becoming a social media, print, radio and TV “rock star” after being selected as an ambassador for a unique global media brand.
CCC Student Employment Coordinator Shanelle Frazier was recently selected as one of 15 women to serve as a key influencer for the Nikki Woods Media (NWM) Brand. She is the only ambassador chosen from the state of Mississippi.
A native of Clarksdale, MS, Frazier has been a member of the Tiger Nation since 2010, previously serving as the Distance Learning/Dual Enrollment Coordinator for CCC’s Educational Outreach Department.
“When I found out that I had been chosen, the first words that came out of my mouth were, ‘thank you Jesus’”, said Frazier. “I am very excited and ready to begin this journey as an ambassador. Branding and marketing has always been a passion of mine, and I am ready to take it to the next level.”
Nikki Woods, well known for her role as the Senior Producer of the Tom Joyner Morning Show, is a multi-media personality, social media and personal branding coach, motivational speaker, and voice-over artist. After kicking off the project, Woods selected 15 ambassadors across the nation through various social media platforms.
The ambassadors will share the responsibility of influencing, engaging, and establishing solid social relationships and physical-world relationships for the NWM brand. Within that process, they will be able to brand themselves and become social media, print, radio, and TV “rock stars.”
As an ambassador, Frazier’s first project includes promoting The Spotlight Conference 2016, hosted in Dallas, TX on March 19. The conference will feature branding experts who will present on topics focusing on branding, marketing and the media.
Tailored for authors and business “superstars,” interested individuals can purchase tickets, HERE.
Frazier said she’s looking forward to not only connecting but meeting new people and hopes to positively impact CCC and the community using the branding and marketing skills she will gain through the experience.
