CLARKSDALE – The start of the New Year has also ushered in a new semester for current and prospective Tigers at Coahoma Community College.

Formal registration for CCC’s Spring 2016 is being hosted, Jan. 4 and 5, from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday and 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, in the Pinnacle. During this time, advisors and administrators will all be in one location to assist students with admissions financial aid, housing, scheduling and other concerns.

According to CCC Director of Admissions Michael Houston, while many returning and transfer students have already taken advantage of early and formal registration, it’s not too late for those who still need to register.

“Our students are still able to come here on campus where we can assist them through the entire registration process,” said Houston. “Our goal is to exceed or maintain our current enrollment … with the affordability and convenience that CCC offers to its students, I’m sure we’ll be able to meet our goal.”

Those who missed out on formal registration can continue to register online through Jan. 5 or by visiting the Office of Admissions, located in the Vivian M. Presley Administration Building, thereafter.

The first day of classes is Jan. 6, which is also the beginning of late registration that will continue through Friday, Jan. 22.

For more information or questions about admissions or registration details, contact CCC’s Office of Admissions at (662) 621-4696 or by e-mail at admissions@coahomacc.edu.
