CLARKSDALE – Take your chances on winning an overstuffed basket just in time for Valentine’s Day, all while supporting a good cause, during a raffle fundraiser happening now through Friday, Feb. 12.C:\fakepath\basket2.jpg

Coahoma Community College’s Phi Beta Lambda is raffling off at the Valentine’s-themed basket, valued at $50. Tickets cost $2 each and are available to CCC students, faculty and staff.

Phi Beta Lambda is a business organization that aims to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs.

According to Kimberly Hollins, Phi Beta Lambda advisor, the proceeds will be used to help deter the cost for members of the organization to compete on the state and national level.

“$2 is a small investment for a really nice basket,” said Hollins. “We’re asking for your support and encouraging the campus to support  us in this endeavor.”

To purchase a ticket, stop by Hollins’ office, located on the second floor of the Lee Flowers building in Room 201, or contact any Phi Beta Lambda member.

For questions, or more information, call Hollins at (662) 621-4150.
