SingleSignOn

Accessing Gmail, myCCC, and Canvas accounts will soon become a simple one-step process with the new Single Sign-On capability. Starting July 30, 2020, users will only need to remember a single username and password to enter the sites rather than three different ones.

The SSO replacement is an efficient strategy eliminating additional login steps when switching between Coahoma Community College applications.

The streamlined SSO upgrade is also cyber-safe, meaning students, faculty, and staff can log in from any device and any web browser.

The single sign-on option reduces the chance of forgotten passwords, which lightens the helpdesk load; however, stronger passwords will be required. Although the three different web addresses can still be used, the Office of Information Technology encourages utilizing the new feature at the web address: sso.coahomacc.edu. Users will be required to create a new password.
