CLARKSDALE –Early registration for summer classes as well as registration for the Fall 2017 semester at Coahoma Community College is now open giving current and new students the opportunity to avoid lines and experience an easier time registering and scheduling their classes.

The early registration period for the Summer I session will continue through formal summer registration, which is scheduled for May 25 and 26.

Classes are scheduled to begin on May 30.

Students may also take advantage of “early” registration for the second Summer session and the Fall 2017 semester during this time.

“Early registration gives students the opportunity to avoid the lines that are sometimes associated with the formal registration process,” said CCC Recruiter Kerry Lee.

“It’s an opportunity for students to register during a time that’s convenient for them and it also gives students the opportunity to enroll in the classes that they need without worrying about them being already filled to capacity.”

Classes for the Summer II session are set to begin June 26, with formal registration to be held June 23.

Classes for the Fall 2017 semester will begin August 14.
