 CLARKSDALE – Three freshman Lady Tigers are vying to represent Coahoma Community College as Miss CCC 2017-2018.

The Miss Coahoma Community College Scholarship Pageant is slated for 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, in The Pinnacle.

The event is free and open to the general public.

The pageant will be CCC’s second as part of the Miss Mississippi Corporation and will include a swimsuit, talent, evening wear and onstage question competitions.

The contestants are: Brittany Collins of Tunica, MS; Tia Davis of Cleveland, MS; and Miracle Hunter of Clarksdale, MS.

Collins is the daughter of Tina and Ran Collins. A graduate of Rosa Fort High School, she is currently pursuing a degree in Pre-Nursing.

Davis is the daughter of Marvin and Vanessa Davis. A graduate of Eastside High School, she is currently a Pre-Nursing major at CCC.

Miracle Hunter is the daughter of Lanika and Gwendolyn Johnson. A graduate of Clarksdale High School, she is currently pursuing a degree in Business at CCC.

In addition to the opportunity to represent the CCC during the upcoming school term, the winner will advance to the preliminary competition for the Miss Mississippi Pageant, where she will have the chance to compete for a $10,000 scholarship and promote a platform of her choice across the state.
