CLARKSDALE – Coahoma Community College will reflect on the history of yesterday, enjoy the gift of today and embrace the mystery of tomorrow during its annual Coronation, slated for 7 p.m. Thursday, April 9, in the Pinnacle.

The night of elegance, themed “Royalty: Past, Present and Future” and open to the general public, will pay tribute to the 2015-2016 Mr. and Miss CCC, who serve as ambassadors for the College.

According to CCC Director of Enrollment and Student Services Karen Done, this year’s event will also pay special tribute to former royalty of CCC.

“This is an opportunity to bridge our past with our future, and we’d like all former royalty of the college to come and attend that night,” said Done.

In addition to the crowning of Mr. and Miss CCC 2015-2016, the evening will also feature special entertainment and recognition of other royalty on campus.

“We’re extending an invitation to the public to join us as we continue to strive for our overall mission to graduate students of good character, competence and compassion,” said Done. “We look forward to your joining as we celebrate one of the most elegant nights on campus.”
