CLARKSDALE – Author, speaker and educator Dr. Samuel Jones will be holding a book signing at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26, in the Magnolia Room of the Zee A. Barron Student Union.
Jones, a native of Gunnison, Miss., is the President and CEO of Life Changing Presentations, which conducts seminars & presentations focusing on leadership development training/coaching, professional keynotes, and strategic planning.
A former college and professional athlete, he currently serves as the Vice President of Student Affairs at Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, Miss. and as the leadership facilitator for the Mississippi Economic Council’s Leadership Mississippi program.
Jones received a bachelor’s degree in Advertising and a master’s degree in Public Relations from the University of Southern Mississippi. He earned a Ph.D. from Mississippi State University in Educational Leadership.
Jones is passionate about success—the success of individuals and organizations. He shares his personal expertise through his experiences in order to highlight personal and professional know-hows that will truly make a difference.
He is the author of “The Man I Never Knew: How Leadership Can be Developed by Faith, Family, and Friends” and “Live Life on Purpose: From Discovery to Practice”. His third book “Winning Before & Beyond the Finish Line: From Success to Significance” is scheduled to be released this year.
