CLARKSDALE – Kids from local Head Starts and daycares will enjoy “spooktacular” learning and fun during a Halloween Extravaganza Friday, Oct. 30, at Coahoma Community College.

Sponsored by the Division of Career and Technical Education’s Department of Early Childhood Education, the event is designed to provide a fun and safe Halloween experience for the preschoolers. The fun will kick off at 10:30 a.m. in the Lee Flowers Building on CCC’s campus and will last for about an hour.

During the event, Tigers in the program will entertain the kids with activities such as face painting, games and reading.

“It’s fun for the children, but it’s also hands-on experience for our students,” said Instructor Amy Landfair. “It gives our students experience in working with children and assisting them with the many activities we have planned.”
