CLARKSDALE – With the cold weather hastily approaching, Coahoma Community College’s Division of Health Sciences is helping those in need stay warm with a “Cozy & Clean” drive.

The Division will be accepting coats, scarves, gloves, socks, and personal hygiene items now through Nov. 18. All of the proceeds will be donated to two local agencies for the needy.

CCC Student Navigator Aneika Moore said it’s a great opportunity for CCC students, faculty and staff to show their support and be a blessing to others.

“There are many things that we take for granted, and being cozy and warm during the fall and winter seasons is one,” said Moore. “The Division of Health Sciences is encouraging all of Tiger Nation to help us by donating to this great cause.”

Moore said items such as new or gently worn coats, gloves, sweaters, and scarves as well as personal hygiene items can be deposited in gift boxes situated at the front of the Robert G. "Brick" Mason Health Sciences Building, located 901 Ohio Ave.

For questions, or more information, contact Moore at (662) 621-4042 as needed.C:\fakepath\Cozy3.png
