Position Title: Diesel Equipment Technology Instructor

Department: Career and Technical 

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree Minimum
  • Two years occupational experience in the Equipment Technology field.
  • Computer literate.
  • Strong writing and interpersonal skills

Preferred

  • Bachelor degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning
  • Post-secondary teaching experience
  • Experience with workforce diesel equipment training
  • Five years occupational experience in the diesel equipment field.

Duties:

  • Teaches assigned classes according to the overall goals and objectives of the department and policies established by Board of Trustees; advances the students’ knowledge and application of the course materials.
  • Works a minimum of 35 hours each week on campus during the fall and spring semesters and submits to department chairperson a monthly work record.
