Kick-off homecoming with a live Sunday evening event featuring BET, HBO, Def Comedy Jam’s comedian, turned Gospel comic, Small Fire. You are sure to laugh and, before you know it, you're inspired and encouraged. With her down home southern charm and her unmatched ability to deliver a hot punch line with universal appeal for all ages.
The night will culminate with a full concert by the world renowned Kurt Carr & Singers, who has been blessing the household of faith for two decades with modern day hymns such as “The Presence of the Lord is Here;” “For Every Mountain;” “I Almost Let Go;” “In the Sanctuary,” and “God Blocked It.” This stellar performance will feature the highly acclaimed Coahoma Community College Gospel choir under the direction of chorale department chairperson, Mr. Kevin Towers.

In the festive spirit of Homecoming tradition, Tiger Taste will showcase a variety of food and drink and provide students (w/valid I.D.) an opportunity to sample all of the treats on display. In efforts to bring awareness to health issues that plague the “Mississippi Delta”, this year’s event will also feature a “Tiger Health Habits” component that will feature information booths with representatives that will be available to discuss and distribute materials.

As a way to give support and show school spirit to the football teams of Coahoma Community College and Coahoma Agricultural High School, the “Walk of Champion” will encompass a specific route so that fans can create a fan wall to swarm players on both sides of the sidewalk in order to greet the players with loud cheers, hugs, a pat on the back, and “high fives” as we usher them into the Pinnacle for the “Super Homecoming Pep Rally.

A Showcase event where faculty, staff and students sign-up to perform talents of singing, dancing, acrobatics, acting, drumming, martial arts, playing an instrument, or other skills.

The Fall 2016 Fit for Life Activities will "kick off" during Homecoming Week with the Fit for Life Olympics. This Initiative was made possible through a grant provided by the Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Foundation. The fitness activities are as follows:
10:00 - 10:45 - Tennis Tournament (singles and doubles)
11:00 - 11:30 - Soccer Golf
11:30 - 1:00 Track and Field (2 lap relay, shot put, 3-legged race
12:00 - 12:30 Obstacle Course

Fraternities from across Mississippi will compete for the title of “HOMECOMING STEP SHOW CHAMPIONS” on October 6, 2016 in the Marion A. Reid Gymnasium AKA "HOTBOX"

Join us for a CCC Foundation event to help support students by raising funds to supplement financial needs of students at Coahoma Community College. “The Gala” provides an evening of upscale fine dining, live music, dancing and an awards ceremony for the friends and supporters of College. Everyone is invited to attend this event for a donation of $100 per person or $1000 per table of ten.

Join the alumni, community as we head for the beautiful, peaceful, pristine greens of the Tunica National Golf and Tennis Center in Robinsonville, Mississippi for our Annual Morgan Freeman Scholarship GolfTournament. (4 man scramble)
The proceeds are used to fund scholarships that will be used to assist students in completing their programs of study in the academic, career-technical and health sciences at CCC. The funds raised also support efforts to retain students until they successfully complete their course of study.

Coahoma Community College intramural sports program host The Annual Pee Wee Football Jamboree. This event provides the opportunity for young athletes across the Mid-south to play the game of football in a positive and competitive environment. Fundamentals, sportsmanship, and physical standards are just a part of our mission. The coaches, parents, athletes and volunteers help maintain this event to support the youth in our community and abroad.
The “Ultimate Tailgating Experience” has become the fastest and largest tailgating events in the delta. Thousands are expected to embark on the campus to take part in the Tiger reunion with food, fun and a blues and oldies music festival. This year’s highlight is a Mega fireworks show culminating the evening’s festivities.
You're sure to love the Annual Homecoming parade, featuring floats from local businesses and student organizations as well as special guests. Don't miss out! Bring a chair and arrive early anywhere in Downtown Clarksdale along the parade route.

CCC Blues and Oldies Music Festival will take place immediately after the Homecoming football game. Tigers, ole and new embark at the stage just west of James E. Miller Stadium to revisit, revive, create friendships while singing and dancing to the sounds of authentic Clarksdale blues music and the sound of old soul 70’s.

After we turn down the music then we will light up the sky with our second to none Fireworks show. The dazzling lights display, featuring more than 1,000 fireworks shells soaring up to 1,000 feet in the air while the sound of celebration can be heard from miles away.
